Menuly – QR Digital Menu Platform for Restaurants & Hotels

Menuly is a SaaS platform that replaces printed menus with a QR code on every table. Customers scan the code and see the restaurant's live menu on their phone, with categories, search, veg / non-veg filters and photos. Each restaurant has its own login to manage its menu, and more than 10 hotels and restaurants already use it.

Menuly – QR Digital Menu Platform for Restaurants & Hotels
The Overview

Menuly is a SaaS platform that replaces printed menus with a QR code on every table. Customers scan the code and see the restaurant's live menu on their phone, with categories, search, veg / non-veg filters and photos. Each restaurant has its own login to manage its menu, and more than 10 hotels and restaurants already use it.

The Challenge

Printed menus are costly to reprint, quickly out of date, and hard to browse. The platform needed to:

  • 1. Serve many restaurants from one system, with each restaurant's menu fully separate from the others.
  • 2. Give non-technical restaurant staff a simple way to update dishes, prices and availability.
  • 3. Load fast and look good on customers' phones.
  • 4. Match each restaurant's branding.
The Solution
  • 1. Customer menu: a mobile-first page with a welcome screen, category tabs, search, veg / non-veg filters, grid and list views, and sections for "Today's Special" and "Popular Today". Items can be added to a cart to show the waiter.
  • 2. Restaurant admin panel: each restaurant logs in to manage its categories (reorderable), menu items (photo, price, availability) and settings.
  • 3. Branding: each restaurant uploads a logo, picks a brand colour, and chooses a menu template (Classic or Menuly Dark).
  • 4. QR code: every restaurant gets a unique menu URL and a QR code it can download and print for its tables.
  • 5. Multi-tenant architecture: each restaurant's menu and QR code are isolated from the others, and the menu URL can only be changed by the platform owner.
The Impact

Check these figures:

  • 1. More than 10 hotels and restaurants are registered and keep their menus live on Menuly.
  • 2. Menu and price changes appear instantly with no reprinting.
  • 3. Each restaurant gets its own branded digital menu from a single QR code.
